Remote management of vehicles
Vehicles are prime candidates for both condition and operations management. Answering the questions: who is using the vehicle, how and where is it being used, paint an informative picture for the asset owner or operator. These values can be collected from any asset by integrating accelerometers, GPS-signals and ID-card readers to our modular ORM-platform. Embedded intelligence can take this even further, enabling local interfaces, embedded algorithms and more.
By interfacing with the vehicles own information system and combining it with the data collected using the ORM-devices, we can offer valuable information on the technical condition and the operations of the heavy machinery to the information users, including the operator.
Condition and operations monitoring of vehicles opens up new possibilities in driving proper operation and maintenance of a vehicle, energy or fuel consumption, safety and naturally in extending the life span of an asset. By understanding how the vehicle is being operated and combining the data with who is operating the heavy machinery, productivity and other parameters we can increase uptime and the life span of an asset.
