Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled and experienced sales person who takes on the responsibility of selling Distence Distributed Intelligent Solutions together with the VAR channel in Finland and abroad. We are a growth company that has grown its clientele five fold in the last 12 months. We want this growth to continue, and in this role, your role will be key!
You work closely with your colleagues in building new customer solutions, increasing awareness, and identifying new sales opportunities.
As a successful solution vendor, you have a consultative role and aim to be a trusted advisor to our customers. This task is an excellent opportunity for an IoT or an industry expert who wants to develop and build a career path through decentralized intelligence and industrial internet sales as a top professional.
Your core responsibilities
- Development and expansion of the VAR channel
- Supporting VARs in building end-user solutions
- Active sales, promotion and account management
- Preparation of sales plans and forecasts
- Identification and qualification of new sales opportunities and business development and expansion in accordance with market and product development initiatives
- Promoting the well-being of Distence
- Developing and expanding business in line with market and product development initiatives
What do we expect from you?
- Experience from solution sales, preferably with IoT or industry maintenance solutions
- Appropriate technical and / or commercial higher education qualifications
- Ability to travel not only in Finland but also in Scandinavia and Central Europe
- Agility and a pioneering spirit
- A goal-oriented attitude as well as the ability to manage their own work
- A show of previous success and results in demanding sales work
- Experience working with VAR or retail channel and end customers
- Strong interaction and networking with decision-makers
- Good oral and written communication skills in English, command of German language a plus
- Ability to understand the customer’s business and identify sales opportunities
